B Forever Strong
Stay Strong for the Life You Want to Keep Living
B Forever Strong is a 12-week program for older adults who want to improve their strength, balance, function, and confidence.
Designed by Dr. Michael Kaplan, Geriatric Clinical Specialist, the program gives you a clear plan to keep progressing — whether you join us in person or participate from home.
WHAT B FOREVER STRONG IS
Strength That Carries Over to Everyday Life
Getting stronger isn’t just about lifting more weight.
It might mean feeling steadier when you’re walking, getting out of a chair more easily, carrying groceries with more confidence, or continuing to do the activities you enjoy without feeling like you’re losing ground.
B Forever Strong was created to give older adults a more structured way to work on those things.
The program combines strength, balance, and cognitive training in a format designed to help participants keep progressing over 12 weeks.
Instead of doing the same general exercise class every week, B Forever Strong is progressive and built around what each participant is able to do. The goal is to give you an appropriate starting point, continue challenging you as you improve, and help that progress carry over into everyday life.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST LED
The program is designed with an understanding of how strength, balance, and function change as we get older.
BUILT TO PROGRESS
You aren't repeating the same workout for 12 weeks. The program is designed to keep progressing as your abilities improve.
PERSONALIZED TO YOU
Not everyone starts in the same place. The program can be adjusted around your current abilities and goals.
MORE THAN STRENGTH ALONE
B Forever Strong brings together strength, balance, and cognitive training to support how you move and function in everyday life.
Built for Staying Capable, Confident, and Independent
B Forever Strong is for older adults who want a more purposeful approach to exercise — especially if staying active and independent matters to you.
Work on the strength you use every day — standing, walking, lifting, carrying, getting up, and moving with more confidence.
Train the strength and control that support steadier, more confident movement.
The goal isn’t simply to complete a workout. It’s to help you continue doing more of the things you enjoy.
For in-person participants, testing at the beginning, six weeks, and 12 weeks creates objective checkpoints so you can see how you’re progressing.
12 WEEKS
A structured program with time to build consistency and progress.
2× PER WEEK
In-person participants meet twice each week.
1-HOUR SESSIONS
Including warm-up and cool-down.
A Clear Plan. A Starting Point. A Way to Progress.
A lot of exercise programs give everyone roughly the same workout and leave it there.
B Forever Strong works differently.
The program runs for 12 weeks and combines strength, balance, and cognitive training. Rather than repeating the same routine week after week, the goal is to begin at an appropriate level and continue progressing from there.
For in-person participants, that means small-group sessions led by a physical therapist, with hands-on coaching and scheduled performance testing so you have a clearer picture of how you’re progressing.
3–4 PEOPLE
Small in-person groups allow for more individual coaching.
3 PERFORMANCE TESTS
In-person testing at the beginning, six-week mark, and end of the program.
“I'd love to have you join us in this program and help you be able to do the things that you love to do for longer.” — Dr. Michael Kaplan
