Dr. Kaplan joins the B Physical Therapy team with over 12 years of experience helping people move better, feel stronger, and stay active. A board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS), he’s passionate about keeping older adults thriving well into their later decades. He’s also certified in Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, and the Modern Management of the Older Adult through the Institute of Clinical Excellence.

Inspired to become a physical therapist after recovering from a high school football injury, Dr. Michael went on to play club soccer at UCF and has stayed active ever since—running endurance races, lifting in his garage gym, and chasing friendly competition on Peloton.

He lives in Winter Springs with his wife, Julia, their three kids—Ari, Ollie, and Ellie—and their Goldendoodle, Lucy. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him playing baseball or soccer with his kids or cheering them on from the sidelines.
